How to Make Aromatherapy Oil for Sinus Pressure



Sinus pressure can be annoying and painful. You can use aromatherapy oils to relieve sinus pressure in a variety of ways. Massage the oils into the chest, cheeks and forehead, add them to boiled water and inhale the aroma, heat them in a diffuser or add them to a warm bath.







Things You'll Need:





6-oz. dark glass bottle




Small pot of water




3 tbsp. sweet almond oil




2 tbsp. jojoba oil




1 tsp. Vitamin E oil




10 drops lavender essential oil




10 drops tea tree oil




10 drops eucalyptus essential oil

Sterilize the bottle. Place the bottle and the removed cap in a small pot of water. Bring the water to a rolling boil and wait about 1 minute. Turn off the heat and allow the water to cool. When the water has reached a comfortable temperature, remove the cap and bottle and turn them upside down to drain and dry.

Pour directly into the bottle 3 tbsp. of sweet almond oil, 1 tbsp. of jojoba oil and 1 tsp. of vitamin E oil. Add 10 drops of
lavender
essential oil, 10 drops of tea tree oil and 10 drops of eucalyptus essential oil.

Cap the bottle tightly and shake gently. You may use the oil, but shake the bottle 2 or 3 times daily for 3 days. Store your oil in a cool, dark place.








Tips & Warnings










Keep your aromatherapy oil fresh and potent by storing it in a 6-oz. dark glass bottle. Choose fresh carrier oils and essential oils stored in dark glass to extend the shelf life of your remedy.
