How to Make Aromatherapy Oil for Stress

We live in a stressful, fast-paced world where it can be difficult to find natural methods of stress relief. Many aromatherapy oils smell good enough to wear as perfume or cologne. Your also can use this blend of oils for a relaxing massage, in a diffuser or in a warm bath.

Things You'll Need:

6-oz. dark glass bottle

Small pot of water

15 drops bergamot essential oil

10 drops neroli essential oil

5 drops frankincense essential oil

3 tbsp. sweet almond oil

2 tbsp. jojoba oil

1 tsp. vitamin E oil

1

Sterilize a 6-oz. dark glass bottle for mixing and storing your aromatherapy oil. Place the cap and bottle into a small pot of water and heat to a rolling boil. After 1 minute, turn off the heat and wait for the water to cool. Remove the cap and bottle and place them upside down to dry.

2

Make your oil directly in the bottle. Add 15 drops of bergamot essential oil, 10 drops of neroli essential oil and 5 drops of frankincense essential oil to the bottle as well as 3 tbsp. of sweet almond oil and 2 tbsp. of jojoba oil. Add 1 tsp. of vitamin E oil to extend the shelf life.

3

Place the cap tightly on the bottle and shake gently to combine the oils. The remedy can be used immediately, but the contents of the bottle must be shaken 2 or 3 times a day for the first 3 days to properly blend the oils and aromas.
